By MyJoyOnline The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) has kept its key lending rate unchanged again. The committee left the policy rate at 26 percent. This is about the fourth time since November 2015 that the rate has been maintained. Speaking at a news conference Monday, Governor of the Central Bank, Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku attributed it the what he describes as a favorable outlook. He, however, maintains that this will be dependent on the fact that prices of petroleum products, utility tariffs and transport fares are maintained in the coming months.
